The renovation of the Estadio Tetelo Vargas constituted a comprehensive intervention aimed at modernizing its facilities and enhancing the experience for both players and fans. The project combined contemporary design criteria with respect for the stadium’s historical identity, incorporating substantial improvements in key areas such as the renovation of the playing field and its drainage system, the expansion of seating areas and spectator zones, player and visitor clubhouses, as well as spaces designated for press and broadcasting. Likewise, the façades were upgraded, and new gym and physiotherapy areas were constructed. This intervention optimized the functionality, safety, and comfort of the venue, while reinforcing its value as a sports landmark and a gathering place for the community of San Pedro de Macorís.
